On the evening of Monday 11 December, the very first Creative Culture Talk of this academic year will take place! This edition we’ll be centered around the relationship between literature and burn-out which is being studied within the field of medical humanities. Our guests will talk about the so-called burnout literature, and, among other things, its literary strategies, and its relation to burn-out in our society.

We warmly welcome some inspiring specialists for this Creative Culture Talk. Sarah de Mul, professor of Culture, Literature and Diversity, Pepita Hesselberth assistant professor in Film and Digital Media, Carmen Verhoeven, researcher of Dutch literature and lecturer of song text analysis, cabaret analysis and Lecture Performance. We are also happy to announce that we welcome Amanda Midence, a Tourism graduate, and social media strategist for Radboud University, who will read us some fragments from burn-out novels. The evening will be hosted by Arts & Culture Studies student and musician Mart Boumans, and Tom Sintobin, assistant professor and lecturer Arts & Culture Studies.
