Description

This Round Table submission addresses a scoping review which seeks to analyze and synthesize the methodologies of public engagement in the context of
higher education. It specifically focuses on the designs and approaches used by professionals and practice-based researchers attempting to engage the public
(internally and externally). The central research question investigates which methods are deployed to enhance public engagement. Employing the PRISMA
framework alongside the ASReview tool, this study systematically identifies, analyzes, and evaluates these strategies to assess their effectiveness and
applicability. The round table inquiry aims to discuss the findings in line with future research directions.
