The past few years have seen significant changes in the world, with concrete consequences for the impact and not-for-profit sector. As a result, there has been an uptick in interest and activities around new business models for non-profits, with various degrees of success.
The workshop will bring together world- class specialists and interested institutions to encourage collective discussion encompassing a range of experiences. We will map out pathways for 21st-century business models capable of delivering sustained and effective impact within the non-profit sector.
The objectives of the workshop are to: 1. Learn from experienced players from different backgrounds on the current land- scape for innovative business models for the non-profit sector; 2. Foster new connections and new networks to support innovative business models for non-profits; 3. Set the scene for a conference on innovative business models to be held in 2019; and 4. Inform the Luc Hoffmann Institute’s own strategy and business model going forward.
I gave a presentation on innovative business models in the non-profit sector. Focussing on changes in the non-profit sector, changing roles of the major players in the sector, the range of non-profit business models, an examples of current innovative non-profit business models.
