Description

The three-year project Eramsus+ Knowledge Alliance ViSuAL-project ends in December (2020). During the project six ‘video’ companies and six (applied) universities, most involved in teacher education (and EAPRIL as associate partner), collaborated to develop a hands-on pedagogical model about video supported collaborative learning and secondly a ‘Higher Education – Business’ partnership model. The models are based on the experiences build up in the many experiments that took place during the last two years. The first-year experiments mainly focused on implementing the technology and building the teacher’s experiences. The second-year experiments focused more on realizing supportive use of video in a collaborative (knowledge building) learning approach in the context of teacher education (for VET and regular education).
During the session you will get an impression of the project and both models resulting from it. Also, main results will be shorty presented from data analysis concerning ‘Agency’, Human impact, cross sectional data analyses of the huge amount of qualitative data that form the evidence base for the models as well as semantic network analysis concerning the impact of students’ video use on curriculum effect on the learning process. Last but not least you will get a look on other concrete outputs of the project e.g. teacher guide, MOOC and a MESH guide on video supported collaborative learning (knowledge building). The session will end with an interactive dialogue where you are the main participants concerning your curiosity, questions and opinions about what you have seen and heard in this session.
