    Description

    Introductory lecture on questions of value related to rights of leasehold, with examples from recent case law. Focus on value issues at the establishment of leasehold rights, during the long-term exercise of leasehold rights (e.g. regulation of the ground rent) and at the termination of leasehold rights (e.g. compensation for the right or the buildings, purchase of the bare ownership). The major questions is whether changes in the ground value during long-term leasehold rights fall to the leaseholder or the leasehold landlord.
