    Presentations of the USEM workshop aimed at design of a learning network. USEM, the User Empowerment in Standardisation is a European project aiming at enhancement of the qualification and participation of disabled and elderly users on behalf of their respective organisations in the European standardisation processes of IST. The USEM workshop, organized by Celstec, focussed on the design of integrated e-learning environment. Zooming in on facilitation of social interactivity in the USEM community enabling distributed collaboration of handicapped persons (between their face-2- face meetings) to become competent representatives of their organizations in standardization platforms and projects.
