The Department of Conditions for Lifelong Learning aims to obtain a more complete picture of the conditions and contexts of optimal learning in such a way that the outcomes of the learning process and the learner can be maximized in an efficient, effective and enjoyable way, whereby the personal learning capacity of the learner is not lost sight of. Therefore, the aim is to investigate the interaction between context and conditions, how interventions by changing the learning environment can influence the conditions of the learner, and how this chain of effects in turn influence cognitive and learning performance.
Our research focusses on the themes of adult learning in an online environment, and biological and psychological conditions for learning.
