Layman's description

Health psychological research focuses on health and disease, with special attention to lifestyle and its psychosocial determinants, information provision and the effectiveness of interventions. In this regard, contributing to the improvement of public health is leading. The Department of Health Psychology conducts a great deal of research into determinants of risk behavior, preferably linked to the development of interventions and the evaluation of the effects of interventions (including cost-effectiveness).

The Department of Health Psychology formulates its research goals within the Research Line of Health Psychology (part of UCH program)
