Research conducted by the Department of Organisation is positioned within the research program Learning and Innovation in Resilient systems (LIRS), and is about 'sustainable development and change in organisations'. It covers the following themes:
- The contribution of organizations to the sustainable employability of (resilient) employees. Developing more sustainable policy in and of organisations. Learning and development in and of organisations and their contribution to relevant outcomes in the field of productivity, innovation and resilience.
- Management of change in organizations, using multiple (post) modern approaches, such as the complexity perspective.
- Research in the healthcare sector. This theme forms a separate focus and collaboration with the other departments within the faculty.
