Layman's description

Research in strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship is positioned within the research program Learning and Innovation in Resilient systems (LIRS), and is concentrated around four themes:

1. Strategy and Innovation: Current topics include:

  • Open Education
  • Moocs
  • Business models

2. The relationship between SMEs and Open Innovation, competitive regions and knowledge exchange

3. Entrepreneurship, strategy and culture: This theme has a strong connection with the PhD school of Management Sciences.

4. Sustainability, business models and tools: This theme examines concepts in which companies voluntarily incorporate both social and environmental aspects in their business activities and in their relationships with their stakeholders. Managers have an obligation to pursue policies, make decisions and follow lines of action that are consistent with the goals and values ​​of society.
