Layman's description
The Section Methodology and Statistics studies new developments in research methods and statistical analysis techniques. This expertise is mainly used to support research within the other disciplines of the faculty. In addition, the department is investigating how statistical education can be improved using relevant educational insights and new technologies, such as serious games. The research line of the Methods and Statistics section contributes directly to the aim of the faculty research program. That is, they improve and support research on change in humans, which is an important topic in several sub-disciplines of psychological science.
The Section Methodology and Statistics formulates its research goals within the Research Line Methodology and Statistics (part of UHC program).
