His research is primarily focused on managing buyer-supplier relationships with a special interest in both industrial and public procurement. Topics of investigation include: governance of inter-firm relationships, power and dependence in business relationships, purchasing portfolio management, contracting, and sustainability. Current papers examine sustainable public procurement, opportunism of purchasing professionals, and performance-based contracting.
