Ms. Rashmi Khazanchi, presently serves as a science teacher at Mitchell County High School in Camilla, Georgia. She holds dual certification in the science field and special education. She has an Educational Specialists Degree in Curriculum and Instructions from Lincoln Memorial University, TN. She also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Psychology and Behavior Modification and a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry. She has 18+ years of teaching experience in K-12 classrooms. She uses innovative teaching approaches and implements evidence-based teaching practices helping students learn problem-solving skills and compete in the 21st century. Her area of interests include artificial intelligence, intelligent tutoring systems, blended learning, gamification of learning, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality. She presented various papers related to teaching science and integrating technology in K-12 classrooms at various national and international conferences. She served as a judge in FTC and FLL robotics tournaments. Her most recent publication includes a book chapter “Effective Pedagogical Practices in Inclusive classrooms for Students with Disabilities.”
