Description

The HERA JRP PS has set aside up to 50.000 EUR in order to fund new Knowledge Exchange (KE) or
public engagement activities where they facilitate KE. This call aims to encourage and facilitate a range
of interactions and creative engagements between arts and humanities research and a variety of user
communities including, third sector, cultural heritage institutions, business and commercial sector, public
policy, voluntary and community groups and the general public. Awards will be made for new knowledge
exchange activities that will add significant value to project outcomes and impact.
Proposed activities should be innovative and enhance the value and benefit of HERA-funded research
projects in the “Public Spaces” programme by increasing the social benefit of humanities knowledge.
Activities should have relevance for clearly defined stakeholders as well as adding value to the existing
KE plans of individual projects. There is also the potential to combine activities across more than one
Collaborative Research Project (CRP).
