Heerlen-Noord Monitoring Project
Extended description
In Heerlen-Noord, a socioeconomically vulnerable area in the Netherlands, a wide range of interventions has been and is being implemented to reduce social inequalities. VERLICHT is a 25-year monitoring project of the Open University, conducted in collaboration with the National Programme Heerlen-Noord. The project systematically maps which interventions are implemented in Heerlen-Noord and how these interventions are expected to work. Through continuous monitoring, VERLICHT aims to build knowledge about which interventions, and particularly which combinations of interventions, are effective in this specific context.
