    Abstract

AI is playing an increasingly important role in education, from lesson design to student feedback. This calls for AI literacy: an interplay of knowledge, skills, attitudes, and ethical awareness. This knowledge product presents an evidence-informed framework to help education professionals understand and promote AI literacy. The framework is based on a comprehensive umbrella review of scientific literature, enriched with practical examples and insights from professionals through World Café sessions. This framework supports mbo, hbo, and wo professionals in fostering AI literacy in themselves and their students.
