Abstract

This chapter presents various animal-assited intervention (AAI) programs taking place across the globe. It consists of 14 distinct snapshots of innovative programs and initiatives that reflect the field's best practices. Discovering the ways in which professionals around the world have created and maintained programs to meet the needs of diverse clients can serve as motivation and models for others who desire to bring human-animal interaction to their vocations.
