    Abstract

The ISIS project (Individualized Support In Sequencing) will design and develop new specifications for describing learning goals and routes, and test them within an advanced navigation service. The outcomes will support learners (both individuals, teams and organizations) in composing their most suitable learning route (or competence development programme), in order to achieve their (formal or informal) learning goals. Distributed learning networks currently need more learner-centred, adaptive navigation services that recommend the most suitable next activity and build-up the learning routes for learners dynamically.
