Abstract

This publication contains a summary of the author's dissertation on the legal relationship between leaseholder and landowner, by way of two statements. The first statement concerns the nature of the relationship, the second focuses on the protection provided to leaseholders who classify as consumers by the EU directive on unfair terms in consumer contracts.
