Abstract

ERP implementations are becoming more and more important but there is still no real measuring instrument to assess the success of ERP implementations in terms of value to the organization. This research focuses on defining a list of dimensions with which a measuring instrument can be set up in the future to measure the product-success of ERP implementations. The main objective of this research is to validate the dimensions for product-success in practice on the basis of the indicators and dimensions found in literature. The dimensions will be tested through interviews and focus group sessions with stakeholders. The results of this empirical study expand knowledge within this under-researched area and provide insight in the dimensions to be used to set up a measurement instrument.
