Student thesis: Master's Thesis

Abstract

processes, it is not widely adopted, or organizations struggle with its adoption. Services Intermediaries, especially in the Netherlands, are undergoing strategic changes like digital transformation due to the consolidation in the market and changing business models. These strategic changes always affect the EA of an organisation. Although EA is not widely adopted or organisations struggle with the adoption of Enterprise Architecture, multiple studies aim that EA is valuable in strategic change processes.
Services Intermediaries could benefit when EA is implemented, but the literature is empirical void about the EA adoption within these organisations. The aim of this study is to identify the sources of resistance encountered during the implementation of EA.
