Abstract

In a Multi-Project Environment, resource allocation is a complex process of balancing the (often conflicting) interests of multiple participants. This research validates the list of success criteria by Ponsteen (2020) in practice and examines possible new success criteria by examining literature published after the publication of Ponsteen (2020). A card sorting method is used to select the criteria that can be added to the existing list. Six interviews at one case company are held to validate the success criteria. As a result, all success criteria have been recognized and acknowledged in practice. Future research can focus on a bigger sample size through a survey research approach in order to generalize the results.
